In-Person BLS Certification Classes (Instructor-Led Training)

Project Heartbeat offers hands-on, instructor-led American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification at our Oakland and Sacramento training centers.

This format is ideal for students who prefer live instruction, immediate feedback, and guided CPR skills practice.

In-person BLS includes complete CPR and AED training for adults, children, and infants, along with written and skills testing required to earn the AHA BLS Provider eCard (valid for 2 years).

BLS Initial – $85

For first-time students or expired BLS certifications

Designed for students taking BLS for the first time or returning after their card has expired. Includes full classroom instruction, guided practice, and both written and skills testing.

Includes:

  • Live instructor-led training
  • CPR & AED skills for adult, child, and infant
  • Required for clinical students and new healthcare staff
  • AHA BLS Provider eCard (valid 2 years)

BLS Renewal – $80

For students with a current or recently expired BLS card

A faster-paced update class for returning students. Includes guideline updates, review of core skills, and testing to renew your AHA BLS certification.

Includes:

  • Instructor-led review and skills check

  • AED use & team-based response
  • AHA BLS Provider eCard (valid 2 years)
