Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an email with course confirmation, location, date, time, and detailed instructions for course preparation, i.e. pre test.
Please note that there is a 33% reschedule/cancellation fee if you do not cancel/reschedule at least 7 days prior to your course date. No-shows will also be charged a 33% cancellation fee
Upon arrival, please bring the following items to class:
- Medical Center Identification badge (Must present badge on day of class or you will not receive course completion card)
- Current certification (not expired)
- American Heart Association loaner textbook will be available for you on day of class. (If you opt to purchase your own textbook, AHS will not reimburse cost of textbook)
- Pre course exam results. (ACLS and PALS only)
Your certification Ecard, CE credits, and instructions to redeem your Ecard will be issued to you immediately upon successful completion of your course. Upcoming ACLS Renewal Courses:
The BLS for Healthcare Providers – Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Most healthcare providers are required to take this course.
Must have current/non-expired BLS Provider Card to take this BLS renewal certification course. Expired card holders and new beginners must sign up for the BLS initial certification.

The PALS Course is designed to provide healthcare providers a refresher on their ability to respond to emergencies for infants and children. Our hybrid/blended learning courses consist of an eLearning module completed at your own pace with the skills portion completed at our San Leandro location conveniently located a few blocks off 98th Ave. This site features our on-demand AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) stations for your ACLS, BLS and PALS certification needs. We are open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Appointments to complete the skills portion of your certifications can be made below.
